Short Encouraging Thoughts
Sometimes We’re Too Busy to Properly Care for Our Thoughts. But Good Thoughts Everyday Keep the Devil Away.
Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a person thinks in their heart, so are they.”
How Does God Speak To Us?
If God hadn’t intended us to be readers,
he’d never have given us a book like the Holy Bible.
God always speaks by means of his Holy Bible.
He seldom speaks brand new things that we’ve never heard before. At least with me, what God does is expand on what I’ve already read, and am already thinking and meditating about.
He doesn’t speak about the book of Revelation if I’ve never read it.
He builds on a foundation I’ve already established.
And he always does so in a quiet voice in my heart that is tuned into him and ready to listen to him.
I’ve heard nothing close to an audible voice.
He doesn’t contradict what he has already said.
He doesn’t tell me to believe ‘ABC’ and then say ‘XYZ.’
This is especially true of the New Testament gospel,
which is his Messenger Jesus’ special Message to us.
